Identify and briefly explain two reasons why many post classical hindus in south asia resisted conversion to islam

one reason was that India was a large country, part of it like Assam never fell to Islamic invaders so Hindus in those regions did not convert. the other reason was that Islamic rule was not for an extended time period. Hindus under their own rule reverted back to Hinduism.
