The immigration policies have had both positive and negative effects on our economy. The U.S. tax base has increased in order to allot more money towards border enforcements and to allow for legal immigrants to live in the country, however the U.S. avoidance of immigration reform has also led to lower wages, lower tax revenue and lower productivity which deepens a vicious cycle aimed at prospective immigrants. The U.S. economy goes further in debt to serve the needs of Non-American Aliens, however the introduction of legal aliens in the country allows for debt forgiveness for America, as they have more workers.
