Select a dream that you recently had or select a prominent dream that you remember from a while ago. Use the present tense (verb tense) to describe your dream—as if it is happening as you are writing it. Then, analyze the dream according to one of the following perspectives: 1) Freud's psychodynamic approach; 2) activation-synthesis theory; 3) dreams for survival theory; 4) or cognitive reverse-learning theory. Essentially, use one of the dream theories to explain the meaning of the dream that you had.
