Has your dog ever got sprayed by fertilizer and turned dark green?

my dog was outside and the people came to spray the fertilizer and they were spraying my dog and now my dog looks like the grinch. the person that was spraying him said that if we give him a bath then it will come off. so i went to go give him a bath and it didn’t come off so i gave him a 3 hour bath and it still didn’t come off. so me and my sister called the people and asked what to do to get it off they said that it won’t come off for a week so now my dog is dark green and he is supposed to be a golden lab but now he’s the grinch.
