What was the general mood of renaissance

The general mood was serious overall, people held themselves to a high standard and they were believed they were a new generation of discovery and science.

Explanation: The renaissance was known for the switching from pseudoscience  to real science where they started to use real facts and reasonable explanations to explain things. They also started appreciating arts and Humanism in general. So basically overall they were in a serious atmosphere.
