Ok so the movie is basically about a hobbit who goes on a long adventure collecting allies and enemies on the way. he gets a ring which turns him invisible when he wears it but if he uses it too much he becomes "corrupt". His friend ,Gandolf the wizard, fights an old friend and wins. there is a little bit more in the movie but i cant remember. hope this helps.
