Honest opinion on my peom I wrote for art. SHADOWS
I am lost in these shadows.
The ones I have created.
The ones you helped me build.

You said they would keep me safe,
when times are dark.
But if so,
why do they have no light?

Are you coming back to save me?
Or to laugh at me,
lost in my misery?

I went to far in.
There is no way out.

Now that ones who loved me are gone,
the ones I loved are still hanging onto me.
They are the broken.
I am the one who needs saved.

I am the one bleeding
They are the ones with no hearts.

But after all this,
when I'm free from my shadows,
I will still be the one over thinking,
frowning,
And they will be there standing,
Smiling.
