Which file format is recommended for black and white photographs? why?

Personally I would recommend .tiff because when you open it the file will not decrease in size. This is also good for printing. Most people just save in .jpg.

Photojournalism adds emphasis and power. if some one told you that a bomb blew up the world trade center, you wouldn’t have believed them until you saw it on the tv or in the newspaper.
