How do i write a song? give me details pl the genre is indie and pop

I have written many songs in my life I just thought about what my life has been like and wrote a song about it I hope this helps ❤!!!

Take some time to think of lyrics and write them down, they don't have to go together at all and they don't have to be in the order of how you are singing them in the song. Just write things from the heart or things that you think up that fit under the genre of your music. Then put the lyrics in order of how you will sing them and don't use the ones that don't sound good with the rest. Finally fill in the song with new lyrics that sound good with the ones you just created and pieced together wherever you need them. For example, if you have a rhyme scheme create lyrics with words that rhyme with the ones you already created. Once you've done that sing the draft out loud and change anything you don't like.
