1) Many Italian historians believe that the source of inspiration for the famous painting by Michelangelo Buonarroti, Last Judgement were his visits to public baths where male and female prostitutes plied their trade. The figures represented in the picture descending to hell and ascending to heaven, which directly shows its main sign.
2) It is also believed that Michelangelo's Last Judgment stands as a depiction of the second coming of Christ because after a look at the painting, it gives an impression that all the figures are circling the central figure of Christ, who gives the last judgement to the cursed.
