The nervous system can be divided into the central nervous system, and peripheral nervous system? which one is which?

The central nervous system is composed with brain and spinal cord, this is where the nerve impulses come.
The peripheral nervous system is composed with the nerves which comes from the central nervous system and go to the different organs like skin and muscles, its role is to conduct the nerve impulses.
