Example: Mauna Loa at 0.2 million years is nearest to Loihi at  70 km away while Kauai is farthest at 4.6 million years and 575 km away from Loihi. The pattern shows that the age of the volcanoes become older (higher) its distance from Loihi is farther (higher) also.
