Well, In space, roots grow in every direction, and water and other essential plants foods float. so the scientists need to find a way to keep the plant directed in their root growth and to find a way to keep water circulating properly. the plants will tend to grow away form the light source in zero gravity. the scientists will have to maintain the amount of light and water the plants get. To be aware of microorganisms that may grow on the plants and what to do about them. they have to l ow the proper amount of fertilizer to use and the right type of plant to use. plant that are larger and with any roots grow better. Such as, lettuce, peas and radishes. larger plants, more water grow better.
