Explain why scientific methods are important and why there is not one establish way to conduct an investigation

Without using the scientific method, it would be much harder to determine a factor that could cause your experiment to fail. By sticking to only one of the methods you could easily destroy your experiment without the background search needed or the materials planned out.

The quest to understand and explain the natural events has to lead the scientist to devise a scientific method.  

A scientific method is a systematic approach to understand and explain any natural phenomenon. It plays important role in the scientific investigation as it acts as a gateway to answer and understand any event in depth.

A scientific investigation depends on making an observation and background research based on which a scientific question is asked.

If the question is asked about the event which has not been observed than different descriptive methodology without the formation of the hypothesis will be used.
