If a paper clip floats on water, what would happen to it if you if you drop soap near it?

Nothing really big... It floats because of density not surface tension.

But You can try and discover what will happen.  :)

(   P.S if you'll drop soapstone it will probably create nice waves...  )

for  example, forests have higher evapotranspiration than other ecosystems,  such  as grasslands, because of their deeper roots and greater leaf area. thus forests have a net moistening effect on the atmosphere and become a moisture source for downwind ecosystems.
