We need energy for our day to day needs such as cooking, power supply, driving, running factories and many more. These energies come from different energy sources like fossil fuel- coal, petroleum, kerosene, etc., biomass, nuclear energy. These are the non-renewable energy sources. To replace these energy sources we look for renewable sources of energy such as solar energy, wind energy, geothermal energy, tidal energy, etc. This energy will not be exhausted like the non-renewable energy. The alternative sources of solar energy and wind energy are non-renewable energy and vice-versa.
