If there is a low concentration of sucrose to water (so there’s more water than sugar in a solution) outside of a cell, will the cell shrink or expand? and why (using osmosis to explain)?

i believe that the cell will expand because there is less sugar in the water. if you were to add more sugar into the water, then the cell will shrink in size because sugar and salt is the same thing if you add it in water.

an adaptation is a change or process by which an organism takes to be better suited for its environment. for example; migration is a behavioral adaptation, this is needed because birds are not built to last extremely cold climates. there are different adaptations because there are different species needing to adjust to different things, bears don't migrate; they hibernate.
