How is the theory of evolution an example of a scientific theory

There is no way to know for sure that the theory of evolution is true but we have a good guess and evidence of why we think it’s true. this is a great example of scientific theory because in science we don’t “know” anything but we look for evidence and make assumptions that have been tested over and over again called theories
