Carbohydrates provide energy to the cells of our body, when we eat a food that contain carbohydrates our body start metabolism ways to obtain the energy from them. There are differents types of carbohydrates and they classified by the number of molecules of sugar (glucose, galactose, fructose, lactose, glycogen, etc) when those molecules of carbohydrates are in the final stage of metabolism we obtain the final product: Adenosine triphosphate (ATP), it’s a complex organic chemical that provides energy to drive many processes in living cells.

the level of progesterone is low at the pre-ovulatory phase of the cycle but it gradually increases and the levels are high at the luteal phase. if pregnancy occurs, the level of progesterone will be high throughout the pregnancy.

if egg is fertilized and the mother gets pregnant, progesterone starts preparing the uterus for the implantation. it starts building up the lining of uterus and make it hostile of the period of pregnancy.
