Would plant seeds that store energy in oil respire faster or would plant seeds that store energy in sugar respire faster? also, does temperature or germination time play a more important role in respiration rate? i think this one would be germination.

Therefore seeds that store oil has to re-convert the oils to carbohydrates so as to respire, However, those that store sugars would just  retrieve them from storage and directly use them in respiration.
