What two kingdoms existed until 1937

Between 1866 and 1937 there existed only two kingdoms plant and animal kingdom. After that between 1937 to 1977 four new kingdoms were added  Protista (protists), Fungi, Monera (eubacteria), and Archaea (archaebacteria).
