What evidence supports the big bang theory of the origin of the universe

The only piece of evidence I have knowledge of is that galaxies are moving apart at alarming rates, and that scientists can sort of "rewind" their movements back to a singular point. Is there any other indisputable evidence that supports the theory of the big bang? BQ: Do Scientists believe that?
