While many people understand that the greenhouse effect is natural, they may also associate greenhouse gases with global warming and, therefore, label these gases as bad. Yet, life on Earth evolved in a certain way because of how these gases regulate Earth's temperature. Also, the greenhouse effect is the trapping of the sun's warmth in a planet's lower atmosphere, due to the greater transparency of the atmosphere to visible radiation from the sun than to infrared radiation emitted from the planet's surface.  I hope this helps u lol
