a clown fish lives in and around the sea anemone. the clown fish has a protective mucous coating, which prevents it from being stung by the sea anemone. since the clown fish can not be harmed by the anemone, it gains protection by living in and around the anemone. the clown fish will in return ward off any predators of the anemone to protect it's home.
