1. A lizard is cold blooded. This means that it rely on its surroundings to regulate it's body temp. Normally if a lizard needs warmth they rely on the sun, but in the cold months in many places the heat from the sun isn't enough to be a counter effect of the cold/wind. If you think of your self, a human (at least I hope you are...) then you don't have to worry about the external temperature regulating your internal temp.
