The vagina is also called the birth canal. It is a hollow, muscular tube attached at the lower end of the uterus and opens to the outside. It is called the birth canal because this is where the baby passes from the uterus to the outside world.

Ovaries are oval-shaped organs where egg cells are developed. They are located at the sides of the uterus, attached to the fallopian tubes. It is also the site of estrogen production which is also known as the female sex hormone.

Uterus is also known as the womb. This is a pear-shaped organ where the fetus will grow if an egg cell is successfully fertilized by the sperm cell. The main body of the uterus called the corpus and it is expandable, which makes it capable to hold a growing fetus.
