We have feminine and masculine plants, in general.

With pollination, bugs transport the masculine gametes called pollen, to the feminine gametes, the ovule.

When the ovule gets fertilized, travel to the ovary and together will create the fruit.

The ovule is the seed.

The ovary is the fruit around it.
