Given how the process of evolution appears to occur, how might concepts presented in this unit be used to predict how any given organism might evolve in the future? how might this knowledge lead to human intervention, positive or negative, in that organism’s natural evolutionary process?

A general ballpark how one can predict the way how evolution will work in the future would be by thinking about the requirement of a certain area or environment and which changes would be necessary and relevant for any organism to thrive with its new changes. 

This could help people speeden up this process by enabling organisms to develop such traits faster, as well as ourselves. 

It's either -limiting factors or -scarce resources but i'd go with my first answer since the food and water are abundant they really aren't scarce
