Several side effects can be caused by apoptosis in humans. some of those effects on humans include blebbing (a protrusion in a plasma membrane of a cell), cell shrinkage, nuclear fragmentation, chromatin condensation, chromosomal dna fragmentation, and global mrna decay. cells will commit apoptosis when atp accumulates in the cytoplasm of a cell. the build-up of atp is not because it is not being used, it is because of the leakage of the membrane of an organelle. which organelle would be responsible for leaking atp into the cytoplasm of the cell?
