Why is it important to separate witnesses at a crime scene? give 2 reasons.

One- so witnesses don’t communicate during investigation, or when they are having to make a story up the story won’t match with eachother
two- so the witness won’t have any distractions, talking one on one can help the witness focus and maybe re remember some things during the incident
