A sea breeze is formed because of low specific heat of a land and high specific heat of a waterbody. Specific heat is defined as how quickly a substance here land as well as water respond when heat is applied.  Water has a specific heat that is four times greater than land that means water gets heated faster than land.

A thermal circulation takes place ,warm air rises and the cool air sinks. this normally occurs during afternoon. When the land gets heated and the hot air rises the cool air enters to replace the place.
