3. A total of NADH and FADH2 molecules are produced from glycolysis, pyruvate oxidation, and the citric acid cycle.
4. If each NADH were to yield ATP then a total of ATP and each FADH2 were to yield ATP, then a total of ATP would be produced via oxidative phosphorylation.
5. Adding these totals would result in ATP.
