This is a guided research paper where you will have the opportunity to learn about and compare analog and digital information, transmission and storage. You will then write a 5 paragraph paper to demonstrate what you have learned on the topics.

Assignment Guidelines

The three topics below will guide your research on analog and digital information. The topics for the body of your paper are as follows:

What are analog and digital information? How are they similar? How are they different? Give at least two common examples of each.
How are analog and digital information transmitted? What kind of information does each transmit best? Which type easily loses part of its signal to noise, and which does not?
How are analog and digital information stored? What kinds of benefits and drawbacks come from each storage method? Discuss stability and security.

Submission Requirements

You will write and submit a 5 paragraph paper.. The first paragraph will be your personal introduction to the topic. Paragraphs 2-4 will each focus on responding to the 3 numbered prompts above. The last paragraph will be your own personal conclusion based on what you have learned about the topic. Each paragraph should be written with grammatically correct sentences, and the words in the paper should be your own, NOT copied from your sources. List your references at the end of the paper. They should include at least 2 reputable sources that you found helpful while doing your research.
