Space research can also help make our lives more comfortable, by allowing us to predict factors such as temperature of the atmosphere. This allows us to predict when heat waves or droughts may strike. These ensures we still lead a comfortable life even during a drought. . . . . . Scientific research benefits the society through factors such as healthcare, with new methods and ways to cure certain diseases coming out, the chances of surviving a disease is higher than ever. Space research has enabled the general public to understand the vast world there is outside space. In the past, only philosophers and astronomers knew about the existence of other planets in the galaxy. Now almost everybody knows that Mars or Jupiter or any planet in the Solar System is out there, in space. . . . . . . One difference between scientific research and space research is that space research can only be done in space or be about space itself.
