In the image below, the beetles that are being squished just happened to be in the
wrong place at the wrong time. The man did not jump around trying to step on
specific bugs, but just happened to step on bugs that were in his path. This occurrence
is completely random. There was no plan for taking these bugs out of the
population. Observe the initial population and compare to the final population. How
will the population be effected by these particular beetles being stepped on?
