Compartmentalization gives eukaryotic cells advantages over prokaryotic cells, mostly in the efficiency of cellular processes. However, despite the fact that prokaryotic cells lack membrane-bound organelles, they must still perform cellular processes necessary for survival and reproduction. Prokaryotes have internal regions with specialized structures and functions and can often use enzymes in their cell membrane for cellular processes. Prokaryotes and eukaryotes have many cellular processes in common. All but ONE apply.
