If it’s 9 o’clock in the evening and the Sun is still out, what season is it? How do you know?

(This is for science) I don’t know what subject this is other than science so I don’t know what to pick for the subject.

Generally, if you are in the middle north hemisphere-middle south hemisphere, there will be longer days in the summer, and shorter days in the winter. The only differences are in the extreme poles, in which there may be 3 months of constant daylight, and 3 months are pitch darkness, as well as difference in between.
