Part Two: Your Rube Goldberg Device Design
Instructions: Choose one option (either Build It or Draw it) to design your own Rube Goldberg device. Then, complete each of
the sections of the lab report below. Your Rube Goldberg device design must include at least three energy transformations to
perform a simple task.
Option One: Build it
Option Two: Draw It
If you build your device, you will need to turn in a video clip
or photograph of your device along with a written
description on how each step works.
If you draw your device, you will need to turn in your
device design along with a written description of how each
step works. You may choose to draw it freehand and scan
or photograph the drawing, or you may use a computer
program to digitally create your device.
