11. The tRNA will continue to bind to the matching mRNA in the A site and bring a new amino acid.
1 2. As tRNA's depart from the E site, the amino acid binds to the growing polypeptide chain on the tRNA that is in
the P site. (Hint this is step 5)
3. The process ends when there is a STOP CODON which codes for the release of the ribosome, the mRNA, and
the polypeptide chain.
4. The tRNA which doesn't have an amino acid will leave the E site. A new tRNA will enter the A site.
5. A ribosome will attach to the area of the mRNA near the start codon (AUG)
6. mRNA comes out of the nucleus into the cytoplasm
7. A tRNA with a matching anticodon (UAC) will pair up with the first codon on mRNA (AUG)
