The Rhizobium lives in the roots of the Legume. The bacteria provides Nitrogen from the air in the form of soluble nitrogen, called Nitrate and fulfill the plant's nitrogen requirement.

In return, the plant gives shelter under its roots and they both are dependent on each other for surviving.

Explanation:

this is a symbiotic relationship as both organisms benefit from each other.

The legume plant gets usable nitrogen from the ammonium and the rhizobium receive organic acids from the plant to use as a food source.
