A  Key  is   a sorting  device  made   up  of  a  system  of  choices  that   is  used   to   classify  organism.  An  identification  key  is  a  printed    or  computer  aided    device   that  help  in  identification  of   biological  entities  such  as  animals, plants,  fossils ,  micro organisms  and  pollen   grains. The  common  key   is  the   dichotomous  key. In  the  key  there  is  sequence  and    structure  of  identification  steps.
