New findings and new evidence about a  scientific theory can change the aspects of this scientific theory and in some cases, it can be proved as wrong or can be supported by more strong evidence that can prove its liability.

New technology allows scientists and researchers to study various untouched aspects and leads to find new evidence to support or prove the theory can be either change or unproven.

Thus, new technology and experimental methods can lead to changes in theories.
