What are two examples of photosynthesizing animals? How do these animals carry out the process of photosynthesis? Are they born to carry out photosynthesis or do they develop the ability over their life span? Do these animals eat in addition to carrying out photosynthesis? What are the similarities and differences between these animals? Why is the ability to perform photosynthesis an advantage to these animals? How does the discovery of the animals further scientists’ understanding of the relationships between plants and animals?
