NASA has discovered a new planet in a distant solar system. On this new planet, they have found a mysterious green slime. The green slime only grows at certain temperatures and under certain moisture levels. Scientists found that if they put the green slime in a freezer, it would shrink itself to maintain an internal temperature of 75°. They also found that the green slime has specialized pumps to pump out water if it gets too wet. As of yet, none of the green slime samples have reproduced, but they do appear to be growing very slowly. When looking at the green slime under the microscope, scientists can see smaller structures filled with green slime and tiny pumps.
