Raccoon:

1. Mother raccoons can have between two to five babies in a litter, and they will have just one litter per year.

2. Raccoons are omnivores, meaning they will eat both plants and other animals. This includes fruits, berries, nuts, fish, frogs, mussels, crayfish, insects, turtles, mice, rabbits, muskrats and bird eggs.

3. Raccoons can be found natively throughout most of the US and Canada, as well as in parts of Latin America, from Mexico extending down to the northernmost regions of South America.

Mountain Gorilla:

1. Once they have reached an age of approximately 10 years, female mountain gorillas give birth to one baby every 4 years.

3.Mountain gorillas are found in two separate locations: the Virunga range of extinct volcanic mountains on the borders of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Rwanda and Uganda, and in the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda.

4. There are only about 1,000 mountain gorillas left.

5. Not only are they hunted for meat, mountain gorillas are also illegally hunted for trophies and live infants.

Part 2:

The mountain gorrila is most vulnerable to extinction. People hunt for mountain gorillas more than they hunt for raccoons. mountain gorillas are on the endangered list. Not only are the mountain gorillas hunted for their meat but they are killed as trophies. Raccoons are rarely out in the daytime making them harder to hunt.

The raccoons would be most harmed by environmental change. Raccoons live in trees and need places to hide in the day time. Gorillas would be able to adapt better considering they dont need to hide in the trees. Raccoons would then be out in the daytime making it easier for them to be caught.
