Cells in the body needs what for energy

Different Cell Types Require Different Fuel Molecules. Red blood cells rely on glucose for energy and convert glucose to lactate. The brain uses glucose and ketone bodies for energy. Muscle cells use fatty acids, glucose, and amino acids as energy sources.
