Step 4-Kepler's Third Law
Kepler's third law relates the time it takes a planet to go around the Sun (the period, P) to the
semimajor axis, A, of the orbit. If we measure Pin years and A in astronomical units (AU), the
simplified relationship (formula) is:

9. According to Kepler's third law, all orbits with the same semimajor axis have the same period.
The two orbits in Figure 5.4 have the same value for A and thus must have the same P, but
how is this possible when the orbits have such different eccentricities? (Hint: With a circular
orbit, e = 0, does the distance of an object orbiting the Sun change?)

parasites can detrimentally affect their host, but also must not allow their host to die before they can complete their life cycle. some parasites have complex life cycles with many different hosts, and have had to find ways of persisting in many different environments during the change from one host to another. ectoparasites live outside the body of the host, and can more easily  disperse, but are  more exposed to predators, parasites, parasitoids. endoparasites live inside the body of the host, and are therefore protected from the outside environment. but they can be  attacked by the host's immune system. they have therefore developed  mechanisms for dispersal such as  complex life cycles.

small, big, or no change could occur in the phenotype. it could cause something as simple as a cats ears to curl backwards or something as frighting as death. it could also occur in the protien-coding area and have an effect on that but no effect on the amino acids. what has to occur is a changing in the hox gene or the control gene.
