Research a specific rock for each type: igneous, metamorphic, and sedimentary. The rocks you choose should be able to ‘morph’ into each other easily... Begin an outline for the "My Rock Cycle LIfe" story.
You may begin as any rock you choose, but you have to create a story where it is told in first person, with dialogue, on the adventures you go through through the rock cycle. You have to end where you began.
The assignment is to have no less than 5 paragraphs (introduction, 3 body (igneous, sedimentary, metamorphic,) and a conclusion). Remember, one paragraph should have 5-7 sentences, minimum.
It must include the following:
A specific type of sedimentary, igneous, and metamorphic rock that you’ll change into throughout the process…
Scientific terms: cementing and compacting; intrusive igneous/extrusive igneous; heat and pressure, etc...you have to include each process as you move through your story.
Weathering and erosion have to play a part in your story.
Settings are to be as descriptive as possible (realistic/futuristic/etc…)
You have the entire Earth as your ‘playground.’
Dialogue is expected, along with using correct grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
Images are not mandatory, but very welcome-especially your own, original images.
