Please help me im struggling. A scientist is breeding orange butterflies in the laboratory. She notices a white butterfly (see image below) in the latest generation of animals. She sequences the genome of this butterfly and notices a mutation in the gene that codes for pigment in the wings. Explain how this mutation would result in a white butterfly.
