Can you correctly identify facts about these two historical models of the solar system? Galileo's model, A, was called the heliocentric model Ptolemy's model, model B, was called the geocentric model The geocentric model proposed that the Earth did not move but the other planets did. Kepler's rules of motions of the planets are based on the heliocentric model. Initially, heliocentric meant that the Sun was the center of the universe, but as astronomers studied the movement of the planets, that was changed. Newton's law of gravitational attraction supports the geocentric model.
